Presume you are the marketing manager for a consortium of auto dealers who sell/deliver throughout the Continental United States, and you are interested in promoting a new luxury vehicle deal on a major network evening news program (ABC, CBS or NBC). You conducted an ad hoc random sample of 150 viewers last night which revealed that 53 watched the news on ABC, 50 watched CBS, and 47 watched NBC news. Conduct a goodness of fit test sig .05, and then use/cite at least three other sources of marketing information to support which news program you would recommend advertising on to get the word out to targeted buyers (male, 25-54 years of age, status aware, and a household income of more than $90,000 per year). Develop your decision analysis using the Case write-up format provided (minimum of 600 words). In the methods section identify at least two sources of hypotheses testing invalidity and/or reliability and discuss how you might mitigate this exposure.
NOTE: This is not a group/team project and each student is to conduct their own unique analysis and case writeup. Also, handwritten analyses (with the exception of the calculations) will not be accepted (that is, Use Microsoft Word).
