Students are expected to develop a sense of the scope and expectations of personal ethics, and a working definition of professionalism. Students should accomplish the following:1. Attend the white coat ceremony2. Commit to the Dental Student’s Pledge3. Read and understand the School Code of Ethics4. Read and understand the ADA Code of Ethics5. Participate in all assigned school activities, learning assignments, classes, and seminars6. Exhibit professional behavior appropriate for a first-year student.Documentation: Students should write a two-page reflection of what you have learned about ethics in the first year of school.
