Citations may be formatted in APA, MLA or Chicago style, as long as they are consistent throughout. You must provide in-text citations, to show ownership of any information that you include, in your essay, which is either

Select one of the following prompts to write your essay about.

1.Locate a version of the United States Constitution.  Review only the preamble. First explain the basic ideas of the document, based on it's wording, and then discuss your interpretation of it's meaning of Preamble's purpose and intent.

2. Many say the Newsroom clip that you watched, in Module 1, are the most honest 3 and a half minutes ever to air on TV.  After reviewing the clip first identify the basic principles of the Constitution and use these to assess how modern America has changed according to the framer's original intent.

3. Federalism is one of the most important and innovative concepts in the U.S. Constitution, although the word never appears there. Federalism is the sharing of power between national and state governments. Refer to the text of the U.S. Constitution to find examples of the principle of federalism in order to explain how we know it exists today.
