Essay: Examining the Micromanager Surely most, if not all, readers ofthis text are familiar with the term "micromanagement." Perhaps some have found themselves in circumstances in which they have been micromanaged and thus have gained some firsthand understanding of it. Micromanagers often give employees the distinct impression that they do not trust them or think them capable of correctly fulfilling their responsibilities on their own.
