The assignments of this course were always required to be finished in team. Although I did not have much teamwork experience before, I soon found it was a very efficient way to work on a project and finish it. In order to finish the project, we five team members discussed the required data and document, then each member choose a piece of task: some will talk with clients to gather their requirement for the system; some will draw the data flow chart, and the rest will prepare slides for the presentation. Spitzer said that teamwork is the most powerful social interaction. Now I understand that something I did as part of a team is really a rich experience.Demotivator: constant changeChange is vital for organizational success, but some organizations simply like to shake things up by changing things for the sake of change. Other organizations change excessively because of lack of clear management focus or poor planning. When I was an undergraduate student, I participated in several projects on campus, some of them were well organized but some were poorly designed. I remember that I helped to build a website for a student organization, but that organization did not have a clear expectation about how this website would look like and what content to put into it. Sometimes we project members had done some part of this work, but later we were told that the finished part need to be changed, It was not only a waste of time but also a discouragement of our work. So it is very important to have a clear expectation before working on a project and keep it unchanged is very important.
