The town of Smallville has three residents. At night, each resident has two choices: watch TV (T)

or wark to the bar (B). The energy cost of watching TV is zero and the utility of watching TV is

also zero. The energy cost of walking to the bar is 1; the utility is zero if no other residents are

at the bar, 2 if one other resident is at the bar, and 1 if both other residents are at the bar (the

residents of smallville are sociable, but not too sociable). The payoffs can be given by two payoff

matrices
