The beekeeper and the farmer work together to gain profits from the bees (making honey for the beekeeper) and the pollination they cause (which helps the farmer raise apples). Each has to pay the writer for each day that the bees pollenize the farmers apples (the noise keeps the writer from being productive, so the beekeper-farmer team have to each give up some of their profits to satisfy the writer without giving so much that it makes their efforts in vain and they lose money out of the deal. Based on the opportunity costs that the farmer and beekeper have and the attached picture of each's marginal profits, "What are the highest and lowest paments from the writer that the beekepper-farmer team will accept for the sixth day? Assuming that the farmer can dispose of $ from the writer as she wishes, what range of payments will the beekeeper accept? Assuming that the beekeeper gets that amount, what range of payments will the farmer accept? (Remember that negative payments are also possible.) Answer the same questions for the fifth day."
