The Constitution and the Bill of Rights (that is, the first ten Amendments) are the founding documents of the American Republic, and we should study and understand them as well as we can.  Choose one of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights and explain why you believe, based on the reading, this Amendment was added, and why you think it is the most important Amendment. Then read your classmates’ posts, and respond to one you disagree with.  Explain why you disagreed, and whether your classmate convinced you to change your mind.  Please remember, this can be a contentious topic at times; be respectful of your peers when posting.
