Chapter 15 (“Sounds”) introduced us to the “technical” way of analyzing the sounds of a poem. Using that chapter as a reference, analyze the sounds of  Kevin Young’s “Ode to Pork” . Scanning poetry may be a new experience for some, but try your very best to identify the poem’s rhyme scheme and meter, as well as any variations on or deviations from that meter within the poem. You should also point out any uses of effects like onomatopoeia, alliteration, assonance, and consonance. Finally, taking all of these techniques together, how does the poet use sound as a whole to support his or her main idea?You are required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt.
