The final project of BUAN 617 is a team project to analyze the application of AI in a company chosen by the team. Specifically, each team will summarize the history of the company, explain the core AI technology used at the company, analyze the consumer AI experiences or enterprise AI benefits, ROI and adoption, and have a

deep dive into a business-related topic. When explaining the core AI technology, each team should focus on how the technology works and how it is related to the core business. If it is a consumer AI, the consumer

experiences should be explored. Otherwise, if it is an enterprise AI, the benefits, ROI, and adoption challenges should be explored. At last, class examples of business-related are business model for ObEN, business lessons for TikTok, HR concerns for inFeedo, and marketing mix (or 4P’s of marketing) for McDonalds.

The final analysis will be presented in the last class (12/4) of this course. The presentation will be 20-minute

long, with an additional 3-minute Q&A. The final project accounts for 25% of the total grade of the course, 20% of which will be based on the depth and coherence of the analysis and is given by the instructor, and the remaining 5% will be based on participation and material preparation and is given by the teammates. After all presentations are concluded, each student can submit a score between 0-5 for each of his/her teammates. The default score is 5 if no score is received, and the lowest score will be dropped.
