• Perform an external audit (the five categories: Economic, Social, Political, Technological, Competitive)
• Analyze the five-forces model of competition (bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of consumers, rivalry among competing firms, potential development of substitute products, potential entry of new competitors)
• Perform the external factor evaluation matrix (EFE)
• Perform an internal audit for the following  functions: Management, Marketing, Finance (Just three financial ratios would be enough), R&D, and operations
• Perform VCA (the business activities in the value chain are effective and efficient? Why?)
• Are the value chain activities competitive compared to rivals? Why? (benchmarking)
• Perform IFE (Internal factor evaluation)
