The story of Ramayana has a pretty clear central idea of good morality. Ramayana himself is very unselfish and is very considerate of others. In Ramayana story it is vivid that the story portrays good from evil. For example, when he honors his father and mothers orders because it would also help his parents in return because they know that he will strive to do good. On the other hand comparing to Gilgamesh's story he is the total opposite from being good and considerate he is selfish and only strives to benefit himself. Fr. C. Blucke states that “the popularity of the Valmiki Ramayana . . . is a monument to the idealism of India, its high esteem of moral values and its belief in the ultimate triumph of good over evil.” In India the religion is Hinduism and Ramayana is a symbol of this religion due to his actions. He follows the morals of Hinduism well by always striving to the right thing as mentioned earlier he honors his parents orders which makes him a good human because he doesn't only care for himself but he cares of their orders as well.
Representation of one of the good beliefs from Hinduism is that "everyone should strive to achieve dharma. You should make dharma central to your life and work to do the right thing at all times. This means that whatever is right in morals you should always strive to follow it and make it the center of your mindset. If you center good beliefs you're rewarded with moksha. Moksha is the goal that you want to reach as you focus on good morality. If you were not to center good morality and rather you do evil you will not be rewarded with Moksha. Moksha is the belief of rebirth. You die and come back to life with a different life so by means of you will constantly live if you strive to do good. Which means you would have to overcome ignorance and desires. Rama's eventual triump is significant because has overcame his ignorance and desires he is considerate and strives to do good not only for himself but also for other people which shows his sense of good from evil.
