Your chosen company is experiencing very rapid growth, which has required managers to find more efficient means of getting work done. The Vice-President of Human Resources; is tasked with drafting a new policy regarding employee sick leave for the company. To meet the deadline set by senior management, he must delegate policy preparation to his team, which will be presented to him for final review.

• Identify and explain the steps in the process for effective delegation per Figure 7.5 of the course textbook.
• Describe how you would advise VP to apply each step of the process to the delegation of the policy creation.
