Here is the question I need help with: The winter solstice (occurring on December 21) and summer solstice (June 21) are the supposed to be the shortest and longest days of the year, respectively. Last year in Palm yale, there were 9 hours and 54 minutes of daylight on December 21 and 14 hours and 24 minutes of daylight on June 21. Based on this information I need to create a sine model function for the hours of daylight in the year 2012.
