There are many movies that depict a character risking his or her life to achieve a higher-order goal. In this assignment, you are to choose a recent movie that you think makes this point well; that is, in which characters risk their lives to achieve a goal that could be perceived as unselfish or benefiting others.

• Identify the movie you have selected (you may not use Jaws)
• Describe the character(s) and what the character does to risk their life in order to pursue a higher-order goal.
• Using two theories of motivation from your readings, describe how each theory would explain the character's behavior in the movie.
