How are operation processes selected? Do they seem to support the organization’s strategy?  The video included in the resources below provides some insight into operation processes in some different industries.

Theory and Context

Operation processes should be selected which will support the operational strategy. Failure to provide alignment between the two will prevent organizations from being successful.

Objectives

Upon completion of this assignment you should be able to select and justify three critical metrics for measurement and analysis. (2.4) 

Theory and Context

After reading the assigned blog posting, you will select three metrics you deem as the most critical to measure. Consider those that most influence control quality and which, in turn, foster superior performance and customer satisfaction. You can assume your customer cannot afford breakdowns, so quality and product longevity are highly prized.
