You will be forming a well-defined argument defending what you believe about how children develop, conditions that help and/or prevent children from behaving and the best techniques for guiding the behavior of children. Due Monday, December 3. Details: Your assignment should be typed in 12 point font, double spaced, and submitted via Blackboard by December 3. There is no specific page limit or requirement for this assignment, but 3-4 pages would be reasonable. You should use the amount of space that you need to meet the requirements of the assignment (everyone’s writing style is different). Please use the template provided to help you organize your paper. For template, click HERE. Description: For this assignment, you will be outlining your approach to guiding the behavior of children in an early education setting. This is your Philosophy of Guidance. To write the paper, use the format below: Outline for Philosophy Introduction (Here is where you make a statement(s) about what your personal philosophy of how to guide the behavior of young children. You are using broad statements here; the specifics will come in the next part). Argument (Here is where you get specific. You need to clearly outline what you believe, why you believe it and provide SPECIFIC examples from our text/discussions/videos/powerpoints, etc. Make sure that anything you take from another source you give credit for it-to not do so is plagiarism!
