(100 words minimum)Hey Liz, I agree with you that the quality and the use of a product being the most important aspect to a marketer. I think when a marketer finds a new product they have to study customers buying habits, so they will be aware what will be hot or not. By doing this they can determine whether the new product will be in high demand or not.I think that I will buy the Orville Redenbacher shack on flavors. I have to shack on some different flavors when I 'm at the movie theaters now, so I'm sure I will love this product. I also see the Kashi frozen foods making a big hit since its a healthy choice for some people who like to get on a go. The 5 minute prep time is definitely a plus.I like you don't see the Orabrush tongue cleaner making any major profits. Most people think just brushing their teeth is enough, so they may find this a waste of time and money. Also that My Kleenex photo box doesn't sound like something I would ever by. I think the only people who may by are people with kids just for decorations in their kids bathrooms or rooms. But I still don't think they will generate enough profits. Please make a comment on the following student comment/discussion. (100 words minimum)B) Hi Liz,I agree with you that the business must have the product that fits the company, I do not see my self buying a hot meal at a Jiffy Lube, or going to a Domino's and purchasing fish for a item. Understanding the cost is very important. Some business try to add products to their business and it fails because they are not assessing the consumers behaviors in purchasing. I agree with you on Orabrush tongue cleaner, that is not a great idea, because I will not buy just a tongue cleaner, V8 juices I agree is a great idea, and I love them.YolandaDISCUSSION 2The following are the student’s discussions/comments that are based on the Main Discussions: (100 minimum words count)Please make a comment on the following student comment/discussion. (100 words minimum)I agree that one of the best marketing strategies is to implement the use of one-on-one teacher to student atmosphere. However, I think cost is a big issue for parents today. If it wasn't so, there would be more children in private school, and the initial statement that I made would be irrelevant. The more students that are enrolled in a private school, the less one-on-one learning the student will receive, and that is a big marketing strategy for the school to attract parents. I may have a different perception on private schools, but i feel that these institution don't allow a students to make judgments on their own, and allow a child to learn from their mistakes. Please make a comment on the following student comment/discussion. (100 words minimum)From the case study, propose probable solutions that will be included in a marketing plan that will answer three common concerns that parents may have when weighing the Montessori Private School as an option. One of most important market plan is to get the option of Montessori Private Schools out there. Getting advertisement to Health Departments, Grocery Stores, Baby stores, Toys'Rus, Hospitals. Those are the first places when parents are getting prepared for their little ones to enter the world, so having the option there is very important. One common concerns of the parents, is the quality of the education. Understanding why parents want to invest into their child education is a concern, and marketing that all their teachers a qualified and have a success rate of high testing of students, and have great integrity will be a great marketing strategy within itself. Marketing financial support is a great marketing plan, because it has to attainable for more than high income families. Marketing how well the children are prepare for college will be another important concerns for parents. Please make a comment on the following student comment/discussion. (100 words minimum)From the case study, propose probable solutions that will be included in a marketing plan that will answer three common concerns that parents may have when weighing the Montessori Private School as an optionMaria Montessori, Italy’s first female medical doctor, transformed an inner-city school in Rome and demonstrated that respect for the child and cultivation of the child’s imagination and proper instruction in reading could reach youngsters to be intelligent and well educated (Jabobus, 2006, p.281). With regards to a making school choice, the Montessori is suitable for parents and families who are looking for the following criteria’s; unique character of their child, teachers qualifications and future university/ college success.Unique character of their child: The learning is self directed and students set their own pace to learn and they have their own space to study.Teacher’s qualifications: The Montessori's teachers develop and maintain a long lasting relationship with students and their families. They are selected carefully and are highly qualified. Their pedagogic fundamental is to avoid blunting children’s natural impulse to learn what interests them.Future school success: The Montessori believes that tests and grades are not the driving forces of the learning process. Learning to meet the expectations and developing a technique to learn are encouraged at the Montessori.Jacobus, A., L.(2006). A world of ideas. Boston, MA: Bedford/ St. MartinsThe following is a professor question, there is no minimum or maximum word counts to answer the professor, just answer clearly, concise and precise. (PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW)So how do these firms differentiate?NOTE: The professor is asking the ABOVE question (D) based on the following (BELOW) student discussion/ comments.–Determine how success in the Wild Oats Organic product line impacts its other product lines, such as the Wild Oats Natural line. They used the term “Generic” – private label and private products that doesn’t use generic concepts because they use quality more than price in comparison to Wal Mart or Target.Organic products have their private labeled brand products; processing, delivery and retail sale. Natural product is not an organic offering,Natural to them no hydrogenated oils, no synthetic additives, preservatives, no high fructose syrup, and genetically modified foods, they don’t sell those products within their stores.–Hello Lauren,Wild Oats aspires to be a market place where they can sell high quality products from other vendors too. Generic products mean that they care for their customers to use their products for the best experience. As you stated, the natural products will have no hydrogenated oils, and also will bear the hallmark, which has been a quality symbol, which has been established for 20 years. They want to leverage their brand name to sell their natural product line ensuring the same quality, which their organic product lines offer. The product line which caters to home makers with paper towels and other home items will have also have an impact on their sales. They want their customers to believe in their brand and relate their products to the quality assured in some of their brands. The following is ANOTHER PROFESSOR QUESTION (E), there is no minimum or maximum word counts to answer the professor, just answer clearly, concise and precise. (PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW)OK, good. So what are the implications for marketing management? Is there an emerging trend they are exploiting or some new go to market strategy?NOTE: The professor is asking the ABOVE question (E) based on the following (BELOW) student discussion/ comments.–From the case study, propose probable solutions that will be included in a marketing plan that will answer three common concerns that parents may have when weighing the Montessori Private School as an option. To me the common concerns about a Montessori school would be results and how the curriculum is different, the need to stay with same curriculum (as in not move away), and—I suppose—cost, though I feel that parents looking at a school like this are less concerned with cost. The idea of a child learning at her or her own pace appeals to me with one of my children and scares me with the other. That may be a very basic understanding of the Montessori concept, but I think marketing material needs to focus on how the child gets one-on-one learning with real attention from the teacher. I think it also needs to be stated that I have a problem with home-schooled individuals I've met who may be very knowledgeable, but often have underdeveloped social skills. Some of this concept seems similar to someone who has little understanding of it like me (and I can't be alone). I think testimonials from successful people could help. I also think more fact sheets and examples about this style of education are important. Wikipedia was of little help to me.That leads me to my next concern. If it is hard to get a straight answer about Montessori schooling is (at least from my perspective) it seems that curricula must vary widely. The case study mentioned that people need to commit to the program for the long term. I grew up as someone whose family moved quite a bit. This wouldn't have been successful with my situation growing up. I have trouble believing that my children won't face that same issue. This issue needs to be addressed, not only with marketing material, but with the implementation of some standards across schools. Finally with respect to cost, let's hear about possible financial aid, payment programs and how this will really pay off for our children. I put this concern near the bottom, because if you are competing with good free schools, this pretty much has to sell itself anyway.Since I'm not Warren Buffet and believe family moves will be in our future, this is a non-option. I'd rather see a greater emphasis place of early foreign language education in this country than what seems like flowery rhetoric, but that's me. –Hello Mark,When the child gets one-to-one attention he/she will learn better but this might lead to some problems in the later part of his/her life when attending high school and college. The social issues of mixing and mingling can be take care of as children mix well with others when they are young. So the social issue is not an option. Family movements will have to be taken care of but as we see that the child is having a great education he/she can adapt to other curriculum because of the knowledge earned. Testimonials might help but in most of the cases the situations are different and cannot be generalized. Costs can be an option but as the parents are vying for a private school the costs can be taken care of. The quality of education received will be of more value than the costs incurred in the education of their child-this should be the marketing strategy of the Montessori school.Discussion-1A)The marketer has to scan the market to find out not only the buying habits of the customerbut also the profile of the customer. The profile will contain the...
