This question is about Nursing home admnistration and how to motivate employees. I need to understand a concept in Human Resources about using a " Pay-for-performance" system. Specifically, I am looking for the important pros and cons for how a "team-based" PFP could benefit a nursing home.

I know it involves the concept of free riders, but I don't understand what makes "Group incentive plans" function well.
