This unit is about representations of gender in Hollywood films.  As part of this, you are reading an article about women action heroes.  Therefore, for this discussion board I want you to closely analyze representations of gender (as well as potentially race, social class, mental disorders, etc.) in the film Suckerpunch or Wonderwoman (2017 version). Relate your analysis to the material from your readings (making sure to cite the source of the information). Make sure to explain the terms and material you are talking about; in other words, write the post as if to someone who has not read the textbook.  Feel free to discuss issues of both film content and form.  Overall, make sure to clearly state each of your claims, and then follow each up with specific evidence from the film.
