This would not be a relevant class on patrol issues in law enforcement if we did not discuss the current issue of policing that has transpired in the last few weeks. There isn't a person in this country who would not agree that the death of George Floyd at the hands of a law enforcement officer was wrong, tragic, and an atrocity. The other almost 800,000 law enforcement officers in this country also do not support this and are just as appalled.
With this in mind, what are your thoughts? Are the riots justified? Should there be policing reforms? if so, what are your ideas of such reform?
