Included in your analysis must be an examination of the use of contact tracing by local, state and the federal government along with the use by private industry. Throughout the course additional reading materials have been provided on similar topics. The purpose of the analysis is to discuss the ethical considerations by the data science engineers developing and deploying these technologies. More than two-thirds of the paper (which is suggested to be about 8 pages long) should cover the ethical theories and concerns. You are not to simply list the ethical theories, but apply them to the issue of contact tracing completely.

Specifically, you should address the following questions:

(1) What is the current proposed protocol by government for the implementation of contact tracing?

(2) What is the scope of this program?

(3) What are the benefits?

(4) What are the privacy issues?

(5) What are the ethical concerns in developing applications ... including data gathering, possession and use?

(6) What are the pros and cons to contact tracing?

(7) What suggestions do you have to provide ethical decision making guidance to data science engineers involved in developing applications for contract tracing?
