Thread: The format for this week’s forum, and following, is to post an initial narrated PowerPoint

This week’s discussion forum is focused on the topic of marketing. Begin to skim the annual report (Form 10-K and other company publications) and observe any marketing themes. Compare your company documents to text reading and note connections. These connections will be the focus of your narrated PowerPoint. Prepare a 2 to 5 minute summary of your findings. This briefing must include the following:

1. Identify the customer(s). Does the company have a marketing orientation?2. Identify national or international trends that affect your selected business.3. Highlight the primary focus of your business. Does your selected company provide a product or service? Does your company operate in multiple business segments?4. Define the competition. Name the companies that compete with your company for market share.
