Topic : MASS MEDIA
Explain why you think it is an important thing to study and how it is societally relevant.
Literature Review → Discuss existing research in the area of study you have chosen. You need a minimum of 10 sources, 7 of which must be scholarly journal articles. The remaining three sources could be news articles, books, government websites, etc. All sources must be cited within the body of your text, with the full references listed in the references section at the end of your paper. Give a brief overview of the information in each of your sources and discuss how it is relevant to your proposed study.
Theory Section → Use one of the theories from the book to discuss and explain the phenomena you have chosen to study.
Hypotheses/Expectations → Discuss what you predict would be found if you actually carried out the study. Your hypotheses should correspond to the independent and dependent variables in your study. If you are doing a quantitative survey or experiment, these should be "if-then" statements. For qualitative projects, your hypotheses can follow the "if-then" structure if you have particular variables, but may be more general statements of what you expect to see in your data, especially if your study is inductive in nature.
Methods → Describe your proposed study. Identify the methodology you have chosen and describe how you will carry it out. Justify your choice of method.
Conclusion → Briefly summarize the main points of your proposal. Discuss the significance of your proposed study and what you think it will contribute to society and the discipline of +-sociology.
