You should have:

1. A clear sociology topic that is clearly focussed on popular culture. Explain why this topic matters for the world we live in. Don't focus on confused culture in general with story telling institutions we examine in this class.

2. A research question about the topic- phrased in the form of question so it is easy to identify.

3. A set of evidence from popular cuture that you will use to answer your question. List it and explain why it is relevant.
