4. Search the Barry University library database and other sources to locate and select instruments to use that will net useful data for the study. Make a list of potential instruments and post it.

5. Create a plan to administer the data collection process to collect data.

Use the five steps below to plan a process of collecting qualitative data.

1. Make a list to identify potential participants and sites. Make a list of places where you can find participants.

2. Brainstorm how to gain access to individuals and sites. Make a list of possible strategies.

3. Thinking about your research question, identify what types of information will answer your research questions. List your possible research questions. Write bullet points on how you will get the necessary information to answer these questions. 

4. Design interview protocols or observation instruments for collecting and recording information;

5. Create a plan to gather data to answer these research questions.

Use the steps below to plan the mixed methods section of your proposed study.

1. Use the criteria offered in your textbook to determine if a mixed methods study is feasible;

2. Identify a rationale for mixing methods. Write less than 200 words to explain this rationale.

3. Identify the data collection strategy and type of design proposed for your study;

4. Develop a quantitative, qualitative research, and mixed question;

5. Develop a plan to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Make a list of possible sites to collect data.

6. Explain how you would analyze data separately or concurrently in your mixed proposal;
