A universal health care system has been a topic of much debate in the United States. The economics study, Health Care Reform in the United States, examines prevalent issues within health care including its accessibility and expenditures. More specifically, it highlights the inefficiencies in public health insurance. Furthermore, this study examines the differences between the United States and other developed countries in attempts to finding reasons for why the United States does not have a universal health care system.

  • Why does every developed nation except the United States have universal health care?

  • Why are their infant mortality and longevity statistics superior?
