UNESCO (one of the United Nations organizations) incorporated the Galapagos Islands as part of the World Heritage in 1978. Question - How is Darwin related to the Galapagos Islands? Answer - The relations between Darwin and Galapagos Islands are of many and that he made them well known for what the islands had to offer. Throughout his expeditions there was not a place that confused him more than the Galapagos Islands, seeing all of the creatures that had similar features throughout the islands all around him and onto the main land of South America. Coming from a belief that told him that God created different animals everywhere and especially the ones that where away from the main land that would be completely different from any other animal but from what he found that was not true. Again seeing that they resembled other species on the main land the idea of evolution came to him questioning his faith. Darwin is related to the Galapagos islands because those islands are what gave him the idea of evolution and it all seeds back to those islands and still does for many scientologists.Course Hero Question – Provide a meaningful response to the answer aboveCourse Hero Criteria – No word limit and no page requirement.
