 This question is a three-part problem. Please be sure to answer all questions to receive credit. 

A.   Find the number of square feet in a square meter?   Explain how you found your answer. 

B.   If a small oriental rug measures 3 mmeters by 4 meters,  how many square feet does the rug contain? In other words, we want to find the area of the rug in feet. Hint:  use your answer from step a to help you find this answer. 

C.   And part B, you converting meters to feet to find the area of the rug. What is another real world situation in which unit conversions are used?
