Hey everyone, I’m posting this to warn you about a massive scam targeting students right now: studydaddy.com (also sometimes going by studdaddy.com). Please avoid this site like the plague.
If you use them, they will drain your bank account. They set up recurring charges on your card without your knowledge, and because they are secretly based in Cyprus, it’s a nightmare to get them to stop. They are scamming students out of their money, and they are also scamming the freelance writers who work for them by refusing to pay out.
Even worse than losing your money is the data theft. If you post your assignment on their site, they will save your personal details and use them to blackmail you. They actually sell your information to Russian scammers online.
Don't believe their fake reviews—go look at the absolute horror stories on Trustpilot and Reddit.
If you have already made the mistake of paying them:
- Call your bank immediately.
- File a dispute/chargeback to get your funds back.
- Cancel your card so they can't hit it with more hidden charges.
Stay safe and tell your friends. Do not give them your assignments or your credit card info!
