We are going to create live paintings of what Renoir might have done, a living painting not on paper. When the classes heard this they gasped with excitement. Lets take ourselves back 100 years ago. What would children be doing 100 years ago? We will use music called Tuileries Garden. What the French called a garden was more like a park, big spaces, bigger than our school, with sculptures. What might it look like on a beautiful day like today? We will listen to the music by Mussorgsky. Listen to the music and see if you can get an impression of what the park might look like. What kind of activities do you see in your imagination?
