We are required to invest in Momentum stocks, contrarian stocks, fund and ETF.

I'm In an Investment course and need help on understanding what stocks to invest in. We are required to invest in Momentum stocks, contrarian stocks, fund and ETF. We're allotted a certain amount of money, and have to invest at least $16,000 in those four categories mentioned above. $4000 in each category preferably.
