We fail to appreciate the complex processes underlying each of our senses, not to mention their integration.  Think of a skill you're good at--perhaps you might be called an "expert."  What sensory capabilities are required?  Does the skill require an integration between different sensory systems (think beyond the "big 5" senses)?  How so?
