We performed a lab in Organic Chemistry 2 Lab, where we reacted 1,1-diphenylethanol and Montmorillonite K10 Clay (strong bronsted acid) and heated the mixture with microwave radiation (in a microwave).My question is to draw a step by step, rational arrow pushing mechanism for this reaction, including a determination of the product.
