To build a culture of quality data, everyone in the building has a part to play. As the leader of the school, you have a crucial part in the process. The National Cooperative Education Statistics System has put together a guide to building that culture. This also reinforces our discussions in a previous course where the importance of involving all stakeholders cannot be diminished.

• As you read this document and focus on the role of the principal and teachers, how do you see this playing out in your building?
• Are you seeing all or most of the suggestions under "Things to Do" (for both teachers and principals) or would you make some changes in your building were you to become the principal?
• What are some other ideas you can take from this article that will help you to build a culture of quality data in your first position as an administrator?
