Humantities II Homework

"Government and the Arts"  Write one pararaph per part with a minimum of 125 words for each part of the discussion. 

1) Discuss the U.S. government's support during the Great Depression for programs, such as the Federal Arts Project, the Federal Writer's Project, and other such efforts.

2)  Discuss whether or not such projects were good government investments during those hard times, and provide (2) two examples that support your viewpoint.

3) Determine in what ways the US government, currently tries to support the arts.  Provide at lease one example to support your view.
