What is a famous example of anadiplosis?
From the movie Gladiator,
“The general who became a slave. The slave who became a gladiator. The gladiator who defied an emperor. Striking story!”
Anadiplosis is the repeating of a word or phrase - it is at the end of one clause and the beginning of the next one. For example, I can say:
"I got it done, and it's done well."
