What is a satellite?

Satellite is an object which orbits or moves around planets.

There are 2 different types of satellite.

##1:-## Natural Satellite ##2:-## Artificial Satellite

##1.## Natural Satellite- Natural satellite are those satellite which is naturally present in space. Moon is a satellite of earth likewise earth is satellite for sun. Because both of them orbits around larger bodies.

##2.## Artificial Satelite- Artificial satellite are those which is man-made. Artifical satellites do same as natural satellites, they also orbits larger bodies.

So from above answer, we can say that if any object orbits you then it is said to be your satellite.
