QUESTION

What is the acid ionization equation for H2SO4 (including removing the acidic hydrogen H+)?

The ionization of sulfuric acid takes place in to steps

##H_2SO_4 -> H^+ + HSO_4^-##

then

##HSO_4^- -> H^+ + SO_4^-2##

The sum of the ionization is

##H_2SO_4 -> 2H^+ + SO_4^-2##

I hope this was helpful. SMARTERTEACHER
