When do you accept or reject the null hypothesis in a chi-squared test?
You have two values:
Your ##chi^2 ## test statistic, which is the value you calculated. And,
your ##chi^2## critical value. Which is the value you took from the table at a certain degrees of freedom and level of significance.
If your TEST STATISTIC exceeds your CRITICAL VALUE, you REJECT the null hypotheses.
