QUESTION

Why is water considered to be a polar molecule?

Water is polar because there is a difference between hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen has EN of 2.2 while Oxygen has E.N of 3.6 and another reason is that their dipole moment isnt zero because their structure is not linear. Water has V shaped structure because of two lone pairs of middle element oxygen
