QUESTION

Why was the Bataan Death March considered a war crime?

See explanation.

Because as the soldiers were forced to march along, whenever one fainted, they would be shot in the head by their Japanese Guards. The Geneva Convention states that POW's must not be shot as they are considered to be of no threat.
