I am learning more about two paintings depicting females by both a male artist by the name of "Manet" and a female artist named "Morisot". I am comparing and contrasting these two depictions of women, and took notice to any general tendencies that I detect among artists of that era in this respect. I would like help with a tutor insights or his/her opinion comparing this situation in the late 1800s to the way females are depicted in our own modern times? Thank you in advance.
