However, I scored poorly on timing of my services. The boss complained that I was taking too much time with one client. My work philosophy has always been to deliver highest quality service by attending to every fine detail and this needed time.

It was a bad conflict of views. However, I analyzed the situation and realized that I needed to strike a balance between my philosophy and job demands.

I agreed to the demands and promised to balance the two. I signed the new performance contract and voluntarily wrote a letter explaining my personal view and how I would integrate job demands with my personal perspective of work.
