Within a few years after becoming the French emperor, he had brought most of continental Europe under his rule. For the first time in the years after the French Revolution, the Catholic Church returned to France under his guidance. In addition, Napoleon was a unique man in his time because of the immense love he had for his family. He was also a man who was not afraid to take any path to satisfy his ambitions.
