Write a 5 pages paper on international relations of the usa and pakistan. Critics in the field of foreign policy believe that it is better to invest within the USA than Pakistan.

The aid that has been previously given in Iraq and Afghanistan has failed drastically. The United States believes that despite the aid programs have failed terribly but still, there have been certain benefits by starting that program. This is the basic reason so as to why they are in favor of such programs but these benefits are not so enlarged and massive that such big amounts are spent on such a cause. Past efforts have failed rampantly but they have made the current policies stronger and better. Personally, I believe that these programs need to stop because they aren't of much help what so ever. (Cordesman, 65)

Security is one of the biggest concerns that prevail in Pakistan recently. Pakistan itself in a state of instability, therefore, propagating aid within Pakistan is quite difficult. In recent times no security has been provided to the workers who are responsible to provide such help. Many have been kidnapped, brutally killed or vanished during their course of service in Pakistan. 150 workers in the year 2008 were victims of serious assault in Pakistan1. Another issue is that the native of Pakistan because of certain religious drilling in them believe that if they accept this aid then they might support the USA which apparently the root of all evil, therefore, they resist the aid provided to them and eventually hurting the workers who are there for their help. (Reid, Guardian)

Lastly, Pakistan although being in a state of utter oppression still showed the courage to put a ban on the NATO supplies.
