How would you describe their timbral quality? What about the dynamics of the piece? Is it all loud, or all soft, or does it change dynamics? How do the different instruments and voices relate to one another in the piece? Do they interact, or do they work independently? A little bit of both? Does the piece have harmony (more than one note at a time)? Is this harmony consonant (smooth) or dissonant (crunchy)? How do you evaluate the piece qualitatively? What is it about? Does it have lyrics? These are the kinds of questions you will want to consider as you analyze and describe your piece. You do not have to cover them all, but you should touch on some aspects of amplitude (dynamics or loudness), timbre, pitch (high or low, relative), any harmony, and duration (long or short, rhythmic patterns).
