Write an essay discussing Tennyson’s “Ulysses”. This essay should thoroughly discuss the character of Ulysses.  If you are unfamiliar with this character (the hero of Homer’s Odyssey), please do some research behind this character.  Odysseus is characterized as shrewd, intelligent, crafty and eloquent.  It was he who brought about the end of the war by developing the strategy of the Trojan horse.  You might also discuss the difficulties he faces in trying to settle down after the excitement of his life.
