Write one page and a quater, Citing specific evidence from Ibn Battuta (not from the textbook), what were some of the main features of Mali political practice and ceremony?
I want a thesiss tide to
"""" introducing Mali and its political system, culture and Ibn Battuta and why he visited Mali"""" a 1 1/4 page paper, complete with footnotes (100 pionts). If you can come up with a better thesis then great! to tie it all together. I just want to you write into, thesis, and talk about mali and why he visted there, for my first page and a quater of my paper. Mali will be my first thesis topic for my paper. YOU DO NOT NEED TO WRITE ABOUT THE POLITCAL SYSTEM AND CULTURAL. That will be for my second and third page. You will not need images, but you will need citations of quoted evidence. You do not need a works cited page. You should use as many sources as you can in the paper, which should:
- be double-spaced with one-inch margins, font size 10 or 12
- contain an introduction paragraph that directly responds to the assigned question and that indicates the specific points to follow in the group's paper
- use direct, quoted material to support your points (footnote the sources)
- contain a last, conclusion paragraph
- consider sending a draft of your assignment to your instructor for feedback before submitting the final assignment
- Remember, you are writing this paper as if you were going to publish it online or in a journal, so you will want to do the best possible work here.

Ibn Battuta's travelogue, or Travels in Asia and Africa (also available as a *.pdf), is extremely interesting but also a bit on the lengthy side. For this paragraph assignment, I do not want you to read all of Ibn Battuta's Account--that is an extra credit option for this unit--what I want you to do is skim the first part of the travelogue and then read the section that begins at the heading, "Ibn Battuta arrives at the city of Mali, capital of the kingdom of Mali p 323-335." (Scroll way down to almost the end of the document.)
