CSE 2: Components of Culture

Part One:  Read the vignette on pp. 26-27 titled "Is Everyone Becoming a Westerner?" and answer these two Critical Thinking Questions: 

1. Do you think consumer culture is taking over the world?
2. What will be the condition of Earth’s cultures in the year 2100?

Part Two:  Identify and explain all the terms and concepts (about a dozen) in chapter two that comprise the "Components of Cultural Knowledge".  Use at least six of the terms you identified to address the questions in Part One.

This exercise need not be exceed 3 pages but should not be shorter than 2 (double spaced) pages.

Due Friday (9-1) at 11pm.
